Breakfast Sessions

Dear Parent, Carer,

Thank you to all the parents that came along to this morning’s Maths parent breakfast session, we had a good turnout and parents found it extremely useful to learn how Maths is taught across school. Below are our upcoming parent breakfast sessions as requested by our parents. Please add the dates to your calendar. All sessions start at 8:50am in the school hall:

Tuesday 28th January - 'An Introduction to Family Reading' with Mrs Bashir and Miss Carlin. Alison Gill from North CityLibrary will provide you with plenty of information about signing up to the library and all the upcoming family events taking place. Parents are invited to have a tour of our own school library to see the magical place where our children read together.

Tuesday 11th February - FGM Talk with Andrea Grant (Safeguarding Officer). An awareness session around a real issue of Female Genital Mutilation and the implications of FGM in the UK.

Tuesday 3rd March - 'Phonics' with Miss Maqboul. An insight to how we deliver phonics in the early years and how parents can understand and support their child. We will also look at how this links with early writing and letter formation. This session is aimed at Nursery and Reception parents.

Tuesday 31st March- 'E-Safety' offering practical advice and guidance to help keep your child safe online.
