For Mathematics, MCPA follows the Singapore Maths approach called 'Maths no problem', for more information on this please visit the maths area of the website.


Phonics and reading are taught using ‘Read, Write Inc’.


Our Science and foundation curriculum is bespoke to MCPA and is based on a wide range of sources including staff expertise from across the multi-academy trust.

In the Early Years Foundation Stage we use the 'development matters' statements to assess our children. However, in Key Stages 1 and 2 we use a bespoke MCPA progress tracking system in all subjects, please watch the video for more information.
